The afterlives will be covered more later on, but it is important to glance over real quickly now. The Hindus believe that there is a Heaven (called Nirvana), but they do not believe in a Hell. They, unlike the Jews who are monotheistic (they believe in one God), the Hindus are polytheistic, which means they believe in many different gods. They also believe in reincarnation, which will also be covered more in depth later. The Jews, for most of their history, were monotheistic, meaning they worshipped only one God. Despite that, though, they did have times where they were polytheistic, meaning they served many gods, such as when they made an idol of a golden calf or when they worshipped the Babylonian god Baal. The Jews share similar beliefs with those of the Christian faith, believing that God is good and will give forgiveness to anyone who asks for it. The Hindus on the other hand have always been polytheistic. They worshiped gods and goddesses such as Brahma and Shiva. The Hindu gods are not considered as kind or loving as the Hebrew God, and will even be mean-spirited towards humans. The only way to get to Heaven is if you put your faith in God. If you do not put your faith in God, you will go to Hell when you die. In one arm she is holding a sword and in another is the head of a demon that she has slain. Blood covers most of Kalis face and chest as she stands on the chest of her husband Shiva, blood drips from many of the severed head and hands that adorn the body in the painting and it also shows the dripping of blood from Kalis mouth down her chest and eventually down her legs but never touching the ground. The remaining arms are outstretched to her worshippers and again have pools of blood in them. All these aspects are outside the normal boundaries that western society deems acceptable (Connelly, 2003). Kali is an abomination that fits into no normal or established reality. She had numerous accessories to her wardrobe that are decapitated and decomposing heads and limbs all which are grotesque in nature. The passive voice in German is formed by combining the verb  werden  with the past participle of the verb you are making passive. To conjugate the verb forms in the passive voice, you use werden in its various tenses. Below are English-German examples of the passive in six different tenses, in the following order: present, simple past (Imperfekt), present perfect (Perfekt), past perfect, future and future perfect tenses. Der Brief wird von mir geschrieben worden sein The passive voice is used more frequently in written German than in spoken German. German also uses several active-voice substitutes for the passive voice. One of the most common is the use of  man:  Hier spricht man Deutsch.   German (is) spoken here. -  Man sagt...   It is said... When a  man-expression is put into the passive, the agent is not expressed, because  man  (one, they) is no one in particular. Below are more examples of passive substitutes in German. (2) An indirect object (dative) pronoun (mir  in the last example) remains dative in either the active or passive voice. (3) In impersonal passive statements,  es  is often omitted, as in the last set of examples.
